#GREENIFY NOUGAT UPDATE#
You see, Greenify is an app that hasn't been updated in a long time (last update was on October 2018), and with Pie, there isn't much sense to use Greenify anymore since Android itself has various hibernation processes built in (Doze). A pop-up will appear, tap on ‘RESET APPS. Now, tap the 3-dot menu again, and select the option ‘Reset app preferences’.

Now, tap on ‘Now optimized’ and select the ‘All apps’ from the dropdown. The problem could be partially due to MIUI 10 with Pie or due to Greenify itself. Head over to Settings > Battery > tap on 3-dot menu at top right, and select Battery Optimization.
